New Heights KS3 had the pleasure of welcoming two former Liverpool Football club legends, Sammy Lee and Howard Gayle to our inspirational Friday Luncheon. We were also able to welcome parents, carers, school neighbours, staff and other professionals who work closely with our school to this event.
The two ex footballers gave an introductory speech on what inspired them to achieve their lifetime goal. An opportunity followed for parents, pupils, staff and visitors to ask questions of these two footballing heroes.
The event was a huge success and Alan Gibbons and Christine Plunkett are hoping to organise more similar events in the new year.
