This week, KS2 were delighted to welcome two local police officers into school. The children took part in an engaging and informative session about keeping safe during Halloween and Bonfire Night.
The officers talked about the importance of respecting neighbours, staying together in groups, and making sensible choices when out and about. They also reminded pupils about the dangers of playing with fire and fireworks, and the importance of following the law to stay safe.
Our pupils enjoyed asking questions and listening to real-life advice from the police. They especially enjoyed the chance to interact with the officers and learn more about their role in keeping the community safe.We are very grateful to the police for visiting and helping our children understand how to enjoy celebrations responsibly while keeping themselves and others safe.
