Following the development of a partnership with Hope University’s PGCE program, a group of trainee teachers visited our New Heights School Key Stage 3 site and took part in a workshop. The work produced during the session was later showcased at the University’s first multi-school Art Exhibition on Monday, 19th May 2025.
The event displayed work from all schools across the North West of England that are partnered with the Hope University’s Initial Teacher Trainer program and showcased the success and hard work of students across the various Schools Art Departments. New Heights School had 3 bodies of work on display, proudly showing the work of students past and present of Key Stage 3.
These works included Clay Gargoyles, Graffiti lettering and Tiki Totem poles in mixed media. The students of New Heights School were both proud and excited to have their hard work and achievements on display for the public and it was a proud moment for all staff that supported them in creating it over the past few years.
