On 29 September all students at New Heights Key Stage 3 participated in the annual ‘Liverpool Maths Party’. The Maths party is an annual event in which schools across the city celebrate the importance of maths in our everyday life.
Across the school day our students took part in many exciting events including:
· Solving a murder mystery- deciphering codes to find the suspect
· Evaluating the ‘most expensive’ name of students and staff
· Riddles
· Logic puzzles
· Interactive maths challenges and corridor competitions.
Students were enthusiastic and competitive and were all awarded with a certificate and a prize for their participation. We look forward to making this an annual event here at New Heights Key Stage 3.
