New Heights School is committed to openness and transparency.
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives members of the public the right to request recorded information held by the school, subject to certain legal exemptions.
The school has adopted the Information Commissioner’s Office model publication scheme. Our school-specific guide explains:
the information we routinely make available;
where that information can be found;
how to obtain information that is not available online;
the seven classes of information covered by the scheme; and
whether any charges apply.

Freedom of Information requests must be made in writing and should include:
your name;
an email or postal address for correspondence; and
a clear description of the recorded information you require.
Requests may be sent by email or post to any New Heights School office. Contact details for each site are available on our Contact page.
You do not need to explain why you are requesting the information.
Requests for your own personal information, or information about your child, are handled under data protection legislation rather than the Freedom of Information Act. Please see our Data Protection page for further information.
If you require any information in an accessible format or as a paper copy, please contact the school.
